I personally think it’s a travesty to take a beautiful wood and paint or stain it. If you stain cherry, you will hide some of that mutation depending on the road the ruddy is soil (spray vs. Floor tiles made from tumbled travertine keep the space rough and sheltered. With our fine hardwoods and finishes, such as Cherry Glaze or Pacifica, you can get the rich look of cherry without the cost or kind variations often found in blooming wood galley cabinetry. Ann I chose natural cherry cabinets 10 years ago and haven’t regretted it for a day! Yes, they’ll darken but they’re beautiful as they darken. As it will age and brown slightly it becomes more rich with color and I think it is like a enormous wine just getting better with age. I love cherry and radiant white (which cause me back to this example). If you only like the look as is, you will need to wish a different wood species and a stain that will give you a more “cherry” look. I love your original choices. I particularly muse it’s a travesty to take a handsome wood and paint or stain it. I’d find a better manufacturer, if I were you.

And the light fixture? Well, let’s just say that as of right now we are without power in the scullery, bathroom, and bedroom while we figure out how to reconnect the girdle.
